Not only should we share our common experiences but we should also celebrate and share our differences. This philosophy applies at every level. Children sharing and learning to respect each other, educators working as a team to support each other and educators working closely with the parents to build a strong partnership.
Children
We believe that it is important for each child to recognise and appreciate their own family and cultural backgrounds, as well as those of their peers. Children will learn to trust each other, communicate freely and respectfully with each other.
There is a strong focus on children working in groups as part of a team, where each child’s thoughts and opinions are respected and each child is an equal participant. Through this social collaboration children form a better understanding of themselves and develop a sense of belonging.
Educators
The staff at the Educators work as a team, support each other and innovate together to provide the best possible early childhood education experience.
Parents
We work hand-in-hand with all family members, to foster a strong community spirit. The Centre takes time to build relationships with families through sharing observations of children, conservations, communication through updates, meetings and social gatherings.
The Centre aims to provide a quality service that meets the needs of the families in our community. It is our policy to work side by side with parents in the care and education of their children. We welcome parent participation and involvement in the Centre.
